Fun, Interactive, In-Person Storytime
I would love to come to your school, library, museum, wildlife sanctuary, or zoo, and lead students on a fun, interactive storytime/craft built around my book, PAWS, CLAWS, HANDS, and FEET. If you are located within 30 miles of me in central Illinois, the fee is just $50. And, if you allow me to sell my books at the event, I will knock off $10.00 of that fee for every 5 books that are sold.

If you are located more than 45 miles away from me, the fee is $100 plus travel and mileage expenses, but book sales can lower the cost for you as well. Contact me for more information.

Immersed in Verse
Let me take your class on a poetic adventure. I've written and taught poetry for 15 years. Contact me and let me know what area/form of poetry you're working on with your students. Let me lead them in activities to help reinforce what you're teaching. These workshops can be designed to fit the needs of individual grades and classes. My fee is $150 per workshop (a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 per day) plus travel and mileage expenses. If you are located within 40 miles of my home, there will be no travel/mileage fees.

Young Author's Workshop
In this 2-hour session, we cover "What Makes A Story?" from idea all the way to finished product. I share writing resources for young writers as well as market information from publishers who accept work from young people. My fee is $150 per workshop (a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 per day) plus travel and mileage expenses. If you are located within 40 miles of my home, there will be no travel/mileage fees.

Unlocking the Wonderful World of Nonfiction

In this one hour workshop, we'll do some group writing exercises to help us ask great questions, and we journey down the path of finding good, credible answers. My fee for this workshop is $100 plus travel and mileage expenses ( a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 workshops per day). If your school is located within 40 miles of my home, there will be no additional travel/mileage fees
